Dr. Vyacheslav Nadvoretsky, "Slava", graduated from Moscow Technical University of Electronics and Computer Science (Moscow, Russia), Department of Biotechnical and Medical Electronic Devices and Systems in 1994. He defended his thesis "Absorption of Ultrasound in Magnetic Fluids" in Thermodynamics and Molecular Acoustics in 1997. He received his PhD in Mathematics and Physics. Dr. Nadvoretsky worked as a junior scientist, specializing in biophysical and biochemical industrial applications, at the MIR Scientific Industrial Center in Russia and also as a postdoctoral research fellow at Baylor in pediatric cardiology. When not coding in MATLAB he usually plays volleyball, acts in a theater, plays piano and guitar or sings Russian folk songs.
